Sony Brand Refresh
2021
This is a brand refresh for Sony headphones. In this project I chose a palette which directly reflects iconic album covers and genre cover styles, playfully incorporating the Sony logo into various foe album covers.
I used iconic imagery to reposition the brand as edgier and ‘cool’ whist keeping the correlating colour palette bright, young and playful. Each cover pays tribute to albums and album styles from the 1970s-1990s, a nod to the music which would have been played on the hugely iconic Sony Walkman portable tape player. This campaign bring the past into the future and positions Sony as a stylish, fun and culturally-aware brand.
